Strava How-To
Instructions on How to Configure Your Strava Account and Activities for Proper Visibility and Scoring
💡
Some of these settings are only available on the Strava website and not in the mobile app. You can also enable a default behavior in your account settings, so you won't need to adjust the activity settings for every activity.
Setting to be applicable for Local Legend
Local Legend will be used to estimate who has done the most lapses of a course.
1. Go to your Account settings and select "Privacy Controls"
2. Select "Everyone" on who can see Local Legends
Setting to show full activity
This is necessary so that your track won't be truncated and will therefore fit the segment, rather than cut short.
1. Go to the activity you want to be scored and select Map Visibility
2. Set the "Hide Start Point" and "Hide End Point" to Off
Set your activity to be public
If your activity is set to any form of 'private', it won't be visible in the Segment and can't be scored. It is therefore necessary to make it public for the duration of the event. After the event, you can revert the activity to private again.
